El Patio de Guajiro | The owners of the Guajiro food truck, which opened in 2022, have decided to expand their business into a brick-and-mortar. El Patio de Guajiro is now occupying the space inside the Asheville Cotton Mill Studios at 342 Depot Street, previously home to the Great Wild Nowhere bar and music venue. The new space will feature a cocktail bar serving beer, wine, cider, and cocktails for diners to order along with their Cuban comfort food from the food truck menu. The food truck at El Patio de Guajiro uses its time-honored recipes and fresh ingredients to transport you to the heart of Cuba. Think mariquitas, tostones, black bean soup, and Cuban sandwiches, to name a few of their specialties.
