The brand has properties in California, Massachusetts, New York, and Utah, with this being their first location in North Carolina. They also have ample meeting spaces for family reunions, company retreats, and small weddings. Check out this new getaway location to plan your next escape!
Inside Zillicoah Beer Co. now stands their newest permanent food truck addition—Master BBQ. This new spot’s owners are bringing the 80-year old family recipes of traditional Filipino comfort food mastered by their grandmother to the Asheville community. From traditional staples, like BBQ chicken legs and pork skewers, to more inventive Filipino cuisine, like lumpia and lechon kawali (pork belly with crispy skin), their menu is a celebration of the art and love of barbecue. Bring the whole crew for a beer and plate!
Since 1986, Charleys Cheesesteaks has been serving fresh cheesesteaks, grilled to order. With more than 780 locations, the franchise has recently opened a new location in the Asheville Mall! Charleys uses only premium ingredients like 100% USDA choice steak, 100% all-white meat chicken, all-natural cheeses, and hand-cut vegetables for their wide-ranging menu of cheesesteaks (of course), fries, and real-fruit lemonades. Craving a cheesesteak? Charleys is your new go-to place.
On February 28, a local Asheville restaurant is launching their own brewery concept! Nine Mile, a Carribbean-inspired, vegetarian-friendly restaurant with three locations in the city, will be introducing four Nine Mile beers brewed at their Montford Avenue spot. Crafted to complement their full menu, each beer has been made to elevate the flavors on their menu. Patrons can choose from their Shale Pile Stout, Montford IPA, Isabella Golden Ale, or Jose Llamas Mexican Lager the next time they stop by. All four beers will be available at all three of their locations, and will help perfectly balance the tropical flavors the community has come to love from their dishes.
